A quick post this morning for the Diva's Weekly Challenge! I had started this string (#7) over the weekend and got as far as Flux in the middle and was stuck! Then Laura came through and saved the day with this week's UMT Challenge with CZT Margaret Bremmer's Copada--the answer to my dilemma! And away I tangled....
I'm hoping to have some time to play with a little watercolor later today/the rest of the week...and I had to hide the forty and fifty percent off coupons that Michaels keeps showering on me! I...must...stop...shopping!!! I just have to drag all of this to MA and there's a whole new Michaels there for me to haunt--it never ends...I really need to put everything away and just finish packing. Yeah--almost there!!
This tile is gorgeous! Your copada has a beautiful style to it. And I agree, those Michaels coupons become a habit.
ReplyDeleteI agree, your tile looks great. Beautiful use of copada and great shading, makes the tangles pop of the paper. Thank hou for sharing.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful and very creative combination of tangles.

ReplyDeleteA very graceful and flowing tile. I love how you incorporated the challenge tangle into your piece.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flow among the tangles! And lovely shading too. I like the Copada on one side of the space and Ennies on the other.
ReplyDeleteI also have a Michael's problem! I have a love/hate relationship with those coupons! Beautiful tile! I love how 3 dimensional it seems.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I can see a lovely heart in the middle...very nice!

ReplyDeleteLOvely and the shading really gives it depth
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love how you have used copada - like it is partially framing the heart shape in the centre :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work Dawn...its well blended and each pattern has its own charm!
ReplyDeleteI love how it looks like a big heart enfolding the circular shapes inside it.
